About Us

Auriel Capital Limited in Jersey was formed to house the equities team of Auriel Capital Management LLP. Restructuring began in the summer of 2007 and resulted in a full spin-off of the equity group. Auriel Capital Limited is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (“JFSC”).

In the summer of 2005, Larry and his team began work on Auriel’s first equity market neutral strategy and in June 2007, they launched the European equity fund. Subsequently they added the UK, Scandinavia, Australia, Canada, and Japan regional portfolios. The Focus of all these strategies is to combine thoughtful, innovative empirical research with industry-leading portfolio construction and risk management techniques to produce uncorrelated absolute returns.

In the summer of 2009, Auriel signed onto the UN principles of responsible investing and began to integrate environmental, social and governance issues into the research process.
In the Spring of 2012 Auriel entered into a partnership with Inflection Point Capital Management. Inflection point provided proprietary sustainability research for use in the Auriel funds and the fund was renamed the Sustainable Absolute Return Fund.
